In Photoshop I duplicated the original photo onto a new layer so that I would mess up the original photo.
I then applied unsharp mask (Filters -> Sharpen -> Unsharp Mask) with following settings:
Amount : 100%
Radius : 1.6 pixels
Threshold : 0 pixels
