They are both nice for different reasons.

I think had you got down lower and aimed up more you might have made it look a touch more...intimate.
Also, if you centre the ducks, press the shutter half-way down then move the camera to where you want to take the photo then press the shutter the rest of the way, you might get better focus. (Just an idea though).
