Another great portrait from you. What pp was involved here? Is she out of focus on purpose. PErhaps many will say that it would have been best to keep her in focus but somehow her being out of focus helps with keeping the photo unique. I like her bright eyes and the black bg. Interesting perspective and interesting colors. You used the lighting well here, and creating the darkness around her to make her stand out even more. Congratulations, another great photo from you!
Great use of colors here. I like the black and the yellow, very interesting the way they interact with each other. Espeically because of the bee (is it a bee?)...the bee: black and yellow. Funny how it all comes together. All my respect for this photo, it is truly beautiful. That one word says it all, of course your title fits perfectly well too haha.

I was most surprised when I saw that this had only received 6 points. This is a great photo. Beautiful colors, great lighting and nice touch of motion. Maybe the way the butterfly was cropped out of the photo and the size of the font is somewhat intimidating drew criticism, nevertheless I like the idea of this and especially its effects. The most important thing in a photo is that it gives the viewer and idea and here I clearly see the idea of LIFE. Life, the butterfly depends on the flower to live, it is fear for its life that it flew away when you saw you come near; the colors, the lighting all point towards sunshine, beauty...the things we cherish most in life. So, I think this is a very good, lively (haha) photo. Thanks for sharing it!

Hello Jo,
How was your trip? I hope you had fun :D
This is a very cool photo. Not only the effect of the moving car and the lights but the variation in colors as well. The effects and colors here work very well together to give this a dreamy, surreal effect. I like it! Especially the pitch black darkness, it makes everything stand out more, especially the silver, shininess (new haha) of the car.
Nice work!! for 50 tries this is pretty good ;D. Believe me, I know hahaha experiences of a wannabe photographer.
Good to have you back,

I really like this photo. It is one I imagine on the cover of a sports magazine or in its pages as a Gatorade advertisement. I like the lighting. Something like backlighting I would think, no? In a way. It sounds like you were experimenting with your pp. I like the effects you gave, the different textures and the varying colors. The red shirt gives a lot of balance to the colors in the photo. I must say that there is only one thing that slightly bugs me in this photo and that not very much: the fact that your fried is in the center. Of course, taking into account that more space to the right would have made the photo too green and to the left it would have ruined a beautiful crop...I see how it fits to have him in the center of the photo. So, actually a great photo. I don't see why it hasn't received more praise.

It's nice to finally know your name! Though Jonathan worked just fine for me ;)
It's a pleasant surprise to come back and see what a beautiful turn your photographs have taken. I love this minimalist shot, the composition, the colors, the cropping are perfect. The line trough the green and yellow is key here. Congratulations old friend!!!
