Hi Michael , I seen your post here and play around with HDR myself , I am no expert at HDR or photoshop for that matter , but would offer a suggestion none the less.
I hope you do not see this as being unkind but rather as being suggestive , but this image really seems to lack in content for a HDR type of process , a cloudy sky is very ambiguous, it can look just about any way with or with out PP work not much can be gleaned from the process you used.
A quick glance in your gallery turned up This Image , Bracketing exposures of that subject with a few different exposure bias settings perhaps in a few different lighting situations , and you will be well on your way , after that it is just playing with the sliders and aiming for either realism or surrealism , really just trial and error (and more error;-) till you get the feel for what you like.
but content in the photo is very important , not all scenes are cut out for HDR processing and it takes some trial and error to get a feel for which scenes are.
my last few posts are done with the Photomatix Pro HDR software , it has a photoshop plugin that I think can be trialed for free (with watermarking) it may offer you extra options in the processing , especially if you are looking for a more surreal look...

Hi Migelo , looking through your gallery I think this one is my favorite :-)
composition is great the lines are placed well and do their job of leading the eye, point of view is good , being above the train tracks like that adds to the image a lot , I also like the contrasting themes between the old building and the new buildings in the background , it is kind of like the photo leads one from the past into the future. for me that is backwards :-) I kind of like to go from the future to the past myself and would rather the composition to lead to the old building ;-) , but I do favor old things ;-)
there is one small thing that I imagine you may not have noticed , it is the small sensor spot about an inch from the top and an inch from the left hand corner , it is kind of hidden between the blue sky and clouds , not a glaring defect or anything like that , just something that I notice and feel that I should point out in order to critique your photo honestly , it is just something that is so easy to fix , if it did not touch the blue sky I would not have noticed it.
over all the picture is really good , thanks for sharing it

Hi Kevin , this is a very nice HDR rendition , the color is great and it really makes the tower pop out , I like the cold colors too. I think your choice to make HDR with one exposure was a good one that moving water would likely not work out for several exposures unless you used a slow shutter to get it to motion blur...
there is one little thing that I find grabs at my attention , it is a light fringing around all of the green trees , it gives a touch of a cut and paste look to the sky , not really a big deal but I thought I would do a little workshop on it , I hope that meets with your approval.

Hi Scot , a very nice image here , good color , and a great balance to the composition , I think that the right hand side is a bit too dark , but it also adds a bit of mystery as well. thanks for sharing it

Hi Bryce , this is a good HDR rendition , very nice colors for the church , and such a neet dramatic sky , I do agree with the comment about the angle of the church I feel the one edge is too level with the bottom of the frame giving a slightly skewed appearance , there is also a touch of lighting issue likely resulting from the exposure merging. over all it is a very nice and dramatic image , thanks for sharing it.
I have done a little workshop I hope that it meets with your approval.
