Hallo Sabine,

in deiner Galerie sind so viele wunderbare Photos. Wenn ich dieses hier anschaue, stelle ich es mir in einem grossformatigen Buch oder Kalender vor. Solltest du so etwas mal herausgeben, möchte ich es unbedingt wissen, um welche zu kaufen.

I find your portrait excellent.
And I like the effect of mixing b&w with color... great idea.
I would have called it: Father and Son... even if my title may sound dull.

Hi Janek,

I like the colors and details in the subject and I think that a human viewer would perceive it the same way when standing before it.
Also the decision to focus on it slightly diagonally (instead of taking it directly from the front) results in a great point of view.
The glowing blurred background contrasts very well with detailed sharp subject. Outstanding contribution.

you've got so many beautiful portraits in your gallery and than again this image pops out to me. A mundane subject with a funny presentation... the egg leaning on the Shuffle works like being in love with it :)))
It seems like at 40 the little boy in you is still prospering and amusing himself...

Hi Alain,

altough it is a montage this one works very strongly disturbing and distressing. You managed to conjure up the deep darkness and hopelessness of the subject... without leaving even a trace of hope in it.

Hi John,

I like here the strong contrast between the rather sad subject (cemetery) and your presentation of it. It looks light, bright, colorful, happy, fresh... simply full of life... and still a cemetery... works almost absurdly strong on me.

Hi Brian,

you gave it the right amount of pp to conjure up an eerie feeling in me while watching it. Those crosses look really concrete and work on me like they were telling: "Better stop here and don't cross the border-of-no-return". Behind them the scenery works like successively dissolving and disappearing. Very impressive contribution.

I like the overall distribution of the colors 1/3 top red, 1/3 middle yellow/green and the subject at the bottom... works very eyecatching.
No... it doesn't work oversharpened at all... quite right to me. :)

Hi Michael,

the title fits the subject: altough the coulisse is the cemetery the eye jumps onto the person. The colors work bright and happy. I'm unsure about the lighting and assume that you increased it during the pp. Great contribution.

just discovered it and I can't understand why I'm the first one to value this post.
Probably the challange "man versus machine" doesn't matter any more ?
Great note, even better workshop but not easy to figure out what has to be done though.
I donwloaded the "best converter version" and I'm going to give a try... then you tell me what "sucks" and why, ok ?
