looks as he is ready to increase the levels,,,

I have almost critique when you first posted,
I think it is over-sharpened or the effect of the grainy-ness detracts from the quality of the photo.
Looks like a good place to wander,
the stark-ness of the birch trees,
the track winding in the grass,
no train runs on that line?

I love the idea & the theme with your intro,
pulling things together, was once/now is,
i think the photo was a little bit too processed, the background looks great, but the foreground is unfocused, unclear to me,
the bench is difficult to see,
nonetheless.
once was the mystery is too much to take?

Sharpness, focus, lighting, these 3 things come together well in this photo,
almost too sharp as things are almost taking that thin silver tint but not...
that guy in the leather cap, he might not do anything it looks all day...

You can just see enough of the eyes to see slim thought of hope in there...
or trouble on the horizon...
