I like this photo. At first sight it looks rather simple. But it is interesting that the horizon is right across the middle. But this works as there is symmetry beteen the sky and the shore. Thenof course the real subject of the photo is very well placed. The symmetry is continued in the surfer's shadow. There is plenty of texture as well to maintain interest. Finally, the lighting is wonderful. Great shot.

Cute doesn't quit say it, she is lovely and your photo show that incredibly well. You've managed to zoom right in to show her and nothing else, but she is still in context with the handle of some tool in her hands. I totally agree with previous critiques, her eyes are magic and you've done well to capture them so. Thanks for sharing.

A lovely avian well captured. The sharpness of the focus is exceptional. The composition is very good with no distractions. The leaf actually adds to the image, otherwise it would have been a plain photo of a bird. Well done.

I must agree this image just screams romance. The balance of the red rose with the red wine works well. The image looks a little dark to me but it may just be my monitor. The composition is interesting and the sting of pearls is a nice touch. Make me feel all warm inside :-)

A Victorian house is interesting but on it's own rather uninteresting. But what you've done with your pp really makes this house stand out. The colours especially, and th spooky feel you successfuly added. Happy Halloween.

I have a particular liking for low light images and this one is exemplary. The colours are vivid and the textures wonderful. There is plenty of in interest across the whole frame. Apleasure to look at.

I've not seen the colour version of this image you refer to but having seen the b&w version I don't think I would enjoy it as much. The textures are magnificent across the whole image. The sky is so interesting as others have commented, but even the sandy foreground is interesting because of the textures. The composition and contrast are also well captured. Thanks.

Whilst the image is well composed it is the textures that really grab me. The lnes in all the lemons are very interesting. The textures in the man's face add much character. The contrast is a little harsh, but that has probably brought out the other main feature in my mind - the colours. A very intersting portrait indeed.

I like the composition and especially the way the sun really focuses attention on the construction. What could otherwise have been a plain composition is made spectacular with colour. The reds and oranges are a joy to look at. Thanks.
