I like your picture, specialy because of the meaning enclosed in it. The road to ...someone.
I'll be in the Azores, hopefully, next year, and I expect to make some pics to post here : )
In the meanwhile I made a quick ws of this one of yours...just a small enhancement of a few points on your pic..hopefully not spoiling its mood, using Curves and HSB, with some minor selections...hope you like it

Congratulations!
You captured a completely natural random pattern in a very well balanced, artistic and impressive way. I like the overall colour very much, I am impressed by the non existance of clusters on either orientation, size, or any other aspect of the features that constitute the pattern. The picture is well exposed, crisp clear and very very pleasing (almost hipnotical) to look at.
A note would be a very welcome plus, though.
A favourite.
Good work.

Hard to put the feelings into words...
.. the light, the balance, the tonal choice...
This is .. perfect.
Straight to favourites :)

Bom trabalho!

Wonderfull effect, at the same time very "High tech" and very natural. Soap bubbles seems to be a great subject to photograph, whe one has the vision.
Congrats , and welcome to TL.

The tonal balance is close to perfect, and the reflexions on the actual screen are very well done. Great layout, great idea, great picture. It gives a sense of "Old tech abandoned to nature" a sort of post-modern traumatic message. I like it a lot. Congrats

I havent had much time for comments here, lately... but I couldnt help commenting this one :)
Somehow .. that photo appeals a lot to me...
Many of yours do, I really like your pictures.. but THAT cabinet.. has a ... "je ne sais quoi" that charms me more then I can explain.. I bet there's usualy something in that room that I like beyond words...
I love the compo. and I think the last pic is perfect like that. If anything at all, I'd rather not concentrate so many dark tones in the confluence between the one at the left and the one in the middle...if you see what I mean...
Kudos on a great job, Maria.. and kisses (special ones) for the geography teacher. :)

Your portraits are definitely among my very few favourites in this site. they're truly professional looking and of excelent taste, usually depicting beautifull natural girls (which, let's admit it, make things a bit easier ;)
This one looks a bit different in approach though.
It's a tad more ..."high key" as her look, the glittering scarf and the way it's covering her face in a slightly less then natural manner seem to place it in a more "fashion-forced" category.
actually this looks more like a scene from a movie then a casual shoot during a professional photo modeling session.
I do think that even the high position over the model's face, showing a much "pointy" chin then your previous pictures of her, doesen´t improve her beautifull face.
This said, I love the way her skinn balances so well with that brown out-of-focus form at the lower left corner, and the general sensation is one of high and exquisite complexity.
As for the workshop, I think you managed to push the colour distortion to it's acceptable limit, as the purple hue adds a tone of mistery to the scene and only spoils a bit the sensuality of the photo.
Still among the best portraits in here. Congrats

Many...throw as much krystal at us as you feel like.
Both our aesthetic senses as our endearing ones will only thank you for it. And I'm glad you're smart to follow the ones who do it right.
A bunch of great pictures. Congrats.
