Fantastic job Raven! I just think it's a little under-saturated.

Hi Wojciech,
very interesting subject. super sharp and creative composition.

lovely picture with good composition and beautiful light and shadows. I love the simple background. the only thing that is distracting is the piece of wood on the bottom left corner.

beautiful! I like how the light is coming from the side and slight nice shadow that it has created on the right side of her face. and as you mentioned her skin tone is amazing!

I think this is perfect pose and composition, and I like the light background. Nice work! where are your light sources exactly?

Hi Sofia,
you have used a nice composition. However, there are some problems in this picture. First you kind of overdid your sister's face in photoshop, and she looks too bright. Second, to me one of the most important things in portraits is how you use the available light in your benefit and more importantly, the direction that the light is coming toward your subject and the resulted shadows on the person's face. They can give you dramatic effects. It seems to me that you in this photo you have either used direct light (from top or from the front) or you have photoshoped the shadows. The other thing is that she is kind of mixed with the background from her right side. hope this is helpful and hope to see more photos of you here. Regards, Essi
