I'm going to be the bad guy here but I spotted this photo on the front page and went 'omfg' I'm sorry, but this is like the quintessencial tacky photo in my opinion. The eye never sees such grey clouds, what I see here is a sum up of all the negative things about digital photography... over the hill colors, unrealistic light conditions. In my opinion this is very far from perfect.

this is seriously cool. Moody and evocative. Raises a lot of questions, evokes a lot of emotions. Great work. Good to see such a good Hungarian photographer on TL.

this is a really creative approach, excellent presentation of a too-much photographed theme. Don't worry about the glare, it gives the structure depth and texture. Great job.

Good one there! A small comment though, I don't know whether you have these people's permission to post photos of them on the Internet or in fact anywhere else... I am not familiar with NZ legislature but in many countries this can only be done with the subject's explicit permission. I don't mean to rain on your parade, just asking :)

I think this is my favorite photo in your gallery. The reflection looks like an Impressionist painting and the good strong colors make it look so happy and peaceful. Excellent!

this was such a great idea, a simple PS effect that was used with excellent results, love the reflection on the river, it really gives the photo something unique.
