Hi James, I have to agree with Hans about the loss of perspective on the cross and the trees but I don't think he has achieved much change in his workshop, while it would spoil the aspect you were after a more direct shot of the cross may have helped. I can see you were trying to achieve a real sombre mood to the shot and I think that works for you.

Hi Hans, great action shot with excellent detail, the smoke from the exhausts give a true sence of speed. Well done

Hi James

Like your composition with the river leading away from the sailing ship and the hand rail following the line if sight.

The bleached out sun and dramatic sky is nice.

Looks like a boiling cauldron Danni, sometimes worth it to go the extra mile for a great shot.
The way the colours transform from golden tho almost black is magic.
There is some noise in the photo but its not a biggy. Well done.

Martin, your treatment of this shot depicts pretty much the effect you were looking for, well done

Great shot Hans, I've tried to photograph these in flight with little success, easier photographing warbirds I think.

The fast shutter speed does hower seem to help alot. Will make a note of that.

Nice photo of this cute little baby - comforting for me as I had to send our 15yr old cat to sleep on Saturday, thanks Janice

So you went into the archives Martin, good on you. You certainly ramped up the shutter speed to get this at speed and therefore the fantastic detail. wonderful shot

Thanks for showing it.

Looks like Dame Edna should be there Doug. Certainly a colourful photo, nice detail and the person in the background nicely out of focus.

Nice bit of photojournalism.
