The contrast on this is outstanding! The blacktop (especially on the right side) looks like it would be a soft rubbery surface... which I know it was not...

In my mind: this picture is of the forbidden fruit, fallen onto the paved over floor of the Garden, and trampled under foot. The knowledge between good and evil lost forever, along with the garden itself!

Fun shot. A beacon of technology against the dark of night. It might be a time machine, it certainly takes me someplace else.

Perhaps there is a difference between fear of heights and fear of depths. This picture appears to rotate slightly when I move my eyes, a nearly hypnotic shot.

Ahhh, Urbanization! You've truly caught a Gotham moment and mood in this. The low cloud cover reflecting the lights of the city was a lucky break, really sets an ominous mood for me.
