PhotoCritique [Translate]
The pose looks uncomfortable and unnatural, the legs are poorly cropped and the focus isn;t on her face, where it probably should be.
Sorry, but the picture is tilted by about 1 degree, maybe more, and the sky is pretty washed out with no definition. In addition there is a lack of vibrancy and detail in the boats/floating village.
Sorry, not a good picture which is a shame given the location and natural beauty of this place.
Actually, i'm going to disagree with the first "critiquer" as I don't think the composition is all that great. The top of the minaret is touching the top of the frame, there should be an element of empty space above it, to make it more visually attractive and balanced.
In addition, there is some object intruding into the left edge of the image. That could have been corrected either when taking the shot or with a simple crop in pp work.
Finally, I think the image needs something like a half degree clockwise rotation, using the top line of the distant wall as a guide.
Hi Joe - I'm not a fan of the frame, I think the image is strong enough without it, and that the frame distracts a little, rather than compliments. Something simpler, maybe? Sorry.
But, that said, I do like the image itself. The wide angle gives a great sense of openness and tranquility. The saturation is strong, but it works - and the long shadows are a delight. The image reminds me a little of Gleneagles...deep green, the trees, rolling views. Nice image.
Hey Sothy - a pretty girl in a skimpy bikini, you'll get a lot of views on this one :-)
The cropped hands don;t bother me at all, I think the composition is fine. Strong colours, pretty girl, nice smile and good eye contact. Not a bad shot at all.
Reminds me of shots by timtim/Tim Gordon...lovely beach scene, strong colours and reflections and makes you want to run across the image leaving bit, wet footprints. Nice shot.
photo is fine
but no photographer's note
and you have only written one critique in two years
this is a community/sharing site
My question is w.h.y. ?
sadly no photographer's note to tell us.
There is no note, the image isn't sharp, it looks a bit too "busy" with not enough blur on many of the leaves, there are areas of overexposure and it looks like a skinny red phallus with a funny growth on the end.

She looks incredibly uncomfortable
