you've caught the wing beats very nicely. i'm guessing this was the QEII? the colours are a little odd and the image seems to have some noise on the b/g. Try using noise ninja on your noisy images with photoshop cs its a great filter for removing digital noise

Personally I think you have done very well.

I've been loking at it using photoshop CS and a quick sharpen very much improves the image in my opinion.

Great colours and a fab sky - I do agree with macromania definately would've gone F22 but still a superb effort.
