Not sure there's anything else i can add to this one Ramon, all other viewers have said it all.
I'll re-iterate. Excellent work
Well done
Martin
Nice framing and timing, Murray.
Excellent action shot, the spray created by the surfer is captured well.
i can almost hear it.
Well done
Martin
Err, WOW.
your patience has paid off no end here Hans. An amazing shot all round. Despite the PP work, i think you and the camera did the real hard work.
Brilliant,
Martin
Striking image, Hamid.
Possibly one of the best shots of sun-ray bursts i've seen for a long time.
I love the graded light from the blues to the golds, and the highlighted reflection in the distant background is a nice catch.
if there's one tiny flaw, it's the horizon. Not the fact is central, but a Slight tilt to level it.
Just a minor, easily fixable point that does not take anything away form the shot.
Well done, well timed and well taken,
Martin
pretty neat shot Maged.
The title is indeed well named.
I'm struck not only by the colour of the photograph, but also the curved, almost circular ripples within the waves.
it's not often such a good image is taken through aircraft windows.
Well done,
Martin
Nice shot, Yopie.
A good strong contrast and sharpness to match.
The arch and offset, off centre model set a really good imbalance that works well, with the gentle curve of the rounded building.
Very natural pose, but with the strong contrast and lighting, sets a very moody image.
I like this a lot,
well done
Martin
Hello, Bartek
I've been browsing through your gallery, and in almost all cases, there are no notes.
In my intro, i state that i rarely critique uploads that have no notes, as they offer me nothing in the form of knowledge.
Today, I make an exception.
Your eye for detail is obvious, and your creative design is also worthy of comment, but please, please, please, use the site in the capacity that is was intended. it's a site we all visit to gain tips, hints, knowledge on how it was done, how it could be bettered, where we went wrong.
I really do think that if you were to post notes on what you did to achieve the result, you'd find far more positive feedback from members who are only too willing to share their thoughts.
No smileys from me as far as points go,(Purely because you have no notes) however, i can see you clearly are a talented photographer that will go far.
Regards
Martin
Hi Natalia,
What a beautifully coloured shot.
The dress is amazing and the time of the capture is really well done.
I do think however, that the 1.7 Aperture has spoiled the image for you.
The only really sharp point of focus is the mouth/chin, and her left shoulder.
I reckon this was taken in automatic mode, and compulsory flash set to fire. Am i right?
You could have used a higher ISO (400+) with flash, and used a smaller aperture to get a good solid depth to give a more in focus range to the entire subject matter. a slightly faster shutter speed would also have prevented camera shake, evident here on the arms and hands.
Due to the ultra dark background, there would be little to no shadow behind your sister, and the flash would also have given a real sparkle to the jewelry and belt.
A fine effort though, which has resulted in a really colourful shot.
Keep shooting,
Thanks
Martin
Hi, Rahul.
I've seen hundreds of dandelions (Blowballs as you call them) and this is just another example.
I'm surprised that you've only uploaded 3 shots in the 4 years you've been a member.
The camera has indeed portrayed a fine spectrum of colours across the mid tones with a nice contrast to the overall picture, but i don't find a single point of focus throughout the entire image.
A little more time spent on composition and camera settings may have had this a real eye catching picture.
I'd have set the camera to manual, aperture priority with bounce flash, and used a black card or other dark background to hide the "Mess" of the distracting background. The bounced flash would have picked up the fine detail of the seeds and against a black card or dark background would not produce too much of a harsh shadow.
A few experimental shots to check levels would have produced a far more dynamic shot.
Sorry, this is nothing special, but had potential.
Having said that, the whole point of the site is to learn from each other, so i do hope i've passed on a tip that may be of use to you in future macro shots.
Regards
Martin

Another brilliant, clean crisp shot with excellent depth.o
The tone and hue of the mans white clothing has really picked up the reflected light from the surrounding sands, and you've captured the mood perfectly.
Perfect composition.
Well done
Martin
