Beautiful, Torben, in all it's simplicity, this is a very classy design. That ONE small, but very strong picture is really beautiful in that empty space.
I even think it's a waste of the design to put the TE logo on the spine, at least in those colors.
A very strong one!
Of these four types, I definitely like the black one best, though maybe the pcitures should be a liuttle bit smaller, when I look for instance to Africa, I see the young child which is so dominant (and deservedly) and the cheetah, but because of that, it's hard to see any outline anymore, which means your goal of showing the outline of the world is diminished. Just my two cents worth. ;-)
I see in the aqua version that you have indeed used more pictures, I kind of like that.
Thanks for the trip along the covers ;-)You did a great job.
Stylish, I like the small frame around it very much, gives a good limitation and a sort of anchor, and seeing one picture on the cover might indeed be more attractive, maybe I can just say that afterwards, because I have seen all the designs now.
I'm not sure of the font typeface though. But I'm not very familiar with all the possibilities
Yep, here's one that is a bit what I had in mind, doing something with the earth, or the world. It is getting more calm at the back as well. And I'm very fond of a black background. When I used to print, and put my prints in albums, is was also on black sheets, as I think color photos stand out great with that.
This looks better, mainly because one of my panoramas is on the back ;-), no, just kidding; I like it better, though I'm not convinced by the background color, I'm not so fond of the TE colors. I like the adding of the lens. This design is calmer, which is better, I guess.
Hi Curtis, I’ve been browsing the gallery for all the proposed covers for the book, because you guys put so much effort in it, thanks for that. You have done a tremendous job so far, and I can understand that once you got the hang of it, it's hard to stop. It's also a very good way to learn to know CS2, which is a VERY powerful piece of software. I have it too, but I'm amazed all the time.
I would have liked to try something myself, but having seen all these wonderful proposals, I just lack creativity to come with something really different, so I'll leave it this way. I have commented on a few of the others as well, but your portfolio was so big , that I downloaded all your pictures, so that I could easily compare.
I think this one and your first are a bit too busy, because of that the text is hardly noticeable between it.
The logo is a good addition, but I'm not sure about the color, although it could well be that I just have to get used to it.
Hi Mohammad, I have been browsing the gallery for the proposed covers of the TE book, because you guys have all put so much effort in it, thanks for that..
I like this one better than your first one, especially the front, because it is less busy than the first. And I like a black background better than a white.
This is not the one for me, like I said in my earlier comment, I'm not so fond of the curved lines, although I still think it's rather original.
Henk, you make it difficult for me to choose between this one and this one. I think I like this one better, because I'm not so fond of 3 dimensional pictures in the meaning of a shade at the picture, although you still have it at the bottom. You also have applied it for the text part on this one, I also think it's good that the word 'TE' is not on the back like in your other one. The color of the other one is better, I think. I would get rid of that picture under the spine.
Wow, I can draw only one conclusion, there are some things I like best in this one, and some things I like best in the other one. I can be SUCH a great help ;-)

Hi Sylvie, actually the reason I'm here is to wish you a Merry Christmas;-), and a nice 2006. I hope it will be very good for you.
It seems quite a nice exhibiton, and I like the colorful; setup here, nice low PoV as well, Sylvie.
Hope you are well.
