I really like the framing device in this; it works well because the flower itself is sharp as a tack
Great colours - rich and natural
I really like the PoV here - it gives one a context for what is a very fine scene -- puts the viewer in the frame
Thanks

A fascinating version of Icarus -- I wonder what the square hole in the wing was for?
I love your angle and the light is very well managed against that bright sky
Your careful off-centre composition is most attractive and I love the colours
Thanks

I love the close detail in this
Great colours, nicely unobtrusive signature
Cheers

With that lighting, this is a very difficult capture.
I like the mood you have here -- somewhere between warm (the lighting) and cold (the sky and water) -- a study in contrasts.
Incidentally, my Finnish classmate rather likes this - he thinks it's a fine capture. He says the colours are more intense than he remembers them but they create a richly romantic mood

Oh WOW!
Your super-low angle really makes this work beautifully!
Did you know that when we say somebody is "pushing up daisies" we mean they are dead :) so your low PoV works especially well
Do you remember having to help up a fallen comrade shortly after this :-) ?
