Exquisite colour. Was this really the way it looked or did you use some filters or colour enhancements? The sunsets are a lot more intense in that climate, maybe just due to the intense heat... Also like the way you framed it with the 'arbory' and the balcony railing below.
We can all learn from such masterful work...
Phenomenal use of lights and colours. The whole picture has a richness about it and a warmth that can almost be sensed by the viewer...
Great stuff!
Mauro,
For your information this is actually the Basilica of Saint Peter in Rome (not Saint Paul's Cathedral, which is in London, England).
It is not only a place. According to scripture (Gospel of Matthew, Chapter 16, verse 18) St Peter's Basilica is the exact place where Jesus said to his apostle Peter: "And I tell you that you are Peter, [Peter means rock.] and on this rock I will build my church..."
With regard to the picture: I really like the way you are very much in clear focus, while everybody else is moving. Was that intentional?
Saludos,
Scott

Wow - is this for real. I live in Charlotte and want to take a trip out to visit this place. That lighthouse is spooky - does it really glow that way, even during the day or was there some kind of break in the clouds that gave it this effect?
Cheers,
Scott
