Mervyn.
Haha!
I enjoyed this one as well!
Lovely!
Priceless expression! :)
That's a great self portrait Lorena!
Manuel is a great photographer and I enjoyed his photos as well.
Btw, i've read ur intro about "When I am painting, my teacher tells me: "Don´t paint with your eyes, paint with your head", which means I have to see more than is in front of me. Recently I had discovered that this is what the good photographers do."
I just read this similar idea on photography yesterday and it went like this "To take a photograph means to recognize – simultaneously and within a fraction of a second– both the fact itself and the rigorous organisation of visually perceived forms that give it meaning.
It is putting one’s head, one’s eye, and one’s heart on the same axis."
It's by Henri Cartier-Bresson.
TFS ur wonderful self portrait. I wish i could take something similar with some great photos I have yet to take! :P
hey bro,
Welcome to the mac club! :)
I made the switch as well last year and never look back!
Did u get the macbook pro? or macbook?
mine is the white macbook...was thinking of the black one but was concerned abt scratches.
Anyways, nothing much i can say about the photo..i would have taken the same angle! haha
perhaps there's a bit of noise...then i saw Ixus!?...since when?! ...u should get the fuji F30 and above. they are really good small cameras.
cya!
Mervyn.
You really can do wonders Manny!
Very nice colours, texture and..what's more, beautifully framed and composed.
I appreciate your photo more since I just came back from a studio shoot. Not easy to connect with the model, while u did wonderfully here.
Thanks for sharing :)
Btw, (I guess u have been asked before)...what are ur post process steps? ...if u could point me to the right direction would be great.
I just shared one photo of my recent shoot. would appreciate if u could drop me some comments.
Thanks in advance,
Mervyn.
Nice painting indeed.. i like it as well.
TOo bad u missed the pigeons :)
Postcard stuff!
Why people dun like this shot?
Nice landscape shot...it really gives the sense of this whole place....on top of the hill overseeing paris.
did u post process this shot?
the rain is not exactly nice however a silouhette in the frame would have been a very nice addition.

Salut Ghislain,
Yup, i miss my IR remote from the D70. it doesn't work on the D200 too! Anyways, congrats for the D300! i heard it is a great camera!
As for ur shot, lighting is all good to me. What could be improved is the clothes (more on positioning and ensuring that the tie is straight and coat looks smart. it would help to have an assistant (a lady is better...they know better about posing, clothes and emotions).
Btw, is it ur business card u are working on?
let us have a look at the final version. it might help u to get some advice from us here :)
