Great shot! These are the kind of photos that I really love to see (although it shows a sad truth). Children with raw emotions, in this case - innocence, and portraying the life you and I live in.

The texture of the risers is allegorical anologous to the rough reality of this child's rough daily life...

One intersting thing to note... the effect of the brightness of the cup in the picture is a symbol of hope.

Well IMHO.
