Hi Ramdan,
I've always wanted to make a nice water drop/splash shot but I'm not technically proficient in doing the setup yet. As I read your notes, there is quite a number prepping to do. Well, one day I'll get it too and hopefully it would be at least as good as yours here.

Alvin
Hi Boss..
Mmg bulan rambutan lah kita ni kan, buka saja sini KK tapi di TL juga bah. This rambutans in this photo really looks refreshing, juicy and delicious. Very good balance of lighting used here and sharpness is spot on.

Nanti kita sama-sama pigi cari mangsa practice ambik portrait kio? hahaha...

Alvin
Hi Bill,
Historical value it is indeed. This photo should be cherished by you since it is definitely no longer possible to shoot at this angle of NYC since the untimely demise of those renowned Twin Towers.

Alvin
Hi Ruslan,
Walau pun kau tidak brapa puas hati sama ni gambar, sia masih juga jeles tinguk. Sia langsung tidak pernah tangkap gambar macam ni. Yes I do see some noise in the BG. It may be because of over-sharpening or you may just be using a high ISO.
Technically, in my humble opinion, you might want to try an even faster shutter speed though I do also think that the problem may also lie with the lens being slow to lock focus. I certainly had that problem when I tried to shoot my butterfly photo I posted recently.

Alvin
Hi Geoffrey,
It is always a nice feeling for a photographer to be able to spot a beautiful and willing smile from a crowd of people directed just for your lens. I certainly do appreciate the gesture of goodwill accorded to me by subjects such as these. Congratulations to you on a well executed shot.

Alvin
Hi Ruslan,
To be honest I'm quite surprised you're able to get a shot as sharp as this at 1/60 200mm focal length. My photo would have been blurry beyond recognition with that shutter speed. You must have an arm as steady as a rock. And I do have to Tjutjut's workshop photo. It does look a lot more pleasing to the eyes without the distraction of the rambutans yg sana atas tu. Tapi sia masih juga la kagum dengan ke'steady'an tangan kau.
Regards,
Alvin

Dear Jean,
I love the tranquil simplicity of this image. Very well taken and good choice of perspective.
