Excellent job Balwant - the clarity is exceptional.

Very well done - Bob

Of all your recent flower shots this is the best in my opinion. The light is beautifully soft and the restricted range of colours really concentrates the attention. The white balance is perfect & the detail is nice and sharp. Just a couple of things to look out for; that little stray piece of straw or whatever bottom left, and those blue patches top left, both are just a little distracting - but very easily fixed.

Excellent job Balwant. All the best, Bob

Hi Balwant, no trouble with the sharpness here, all the detail is nice and clear. The colours are also very natural looking. Did you crop this from a larger shot or is this how you framed it in the camera? The reason I ask is because if this is how you framed it in the camera, then that may be the reason for it struggling to focus, what with the subject mainly off to the left. Just a thought!

Hi Balwant, another excellent shot. Detail is nice and sharp with vivid, natural colours. It's a real pity the end of the tail is missing - you may have done better to shoot slightly wider and then crop later when you get home. Certainly doesn't spoil the enjoyment for me - but you know what some judges are like!

Hi Lena, very mood composition, your work with layers is always very original - and this is no exception. Looks like you've used an old gravestone as the basis of this. And the very sombre expression works very well.

Hi Balwant - this is excellent. Perfect choice of shutter speed - and the detail is nice and sharp. You really get the sense of movement which you don't get from the static approach. Panning can be quite difficult - but this has turned out exceptionally well.

All the best, Bob

Hi Balwant - this is doing well, and rightly so. And I think it's the gently curving road which wanders thru the frame that really draws the viewer in. The red sledge is a real bonus. Could even be worth desaturating the whole thing - leaving just the sledge in colour. Worth a try!

Fabulous shot Balwant, the composition is really excellent. The fact that you cannot see the eyes of the mother helps to concentrate the attention on the baby. A charming moment. Clarity, detail & colour are all perfect. And I like the B&W workshop also, very good job.

All the best, Bob

Great shot Balwant - the timing is perfect & the colours amazing. My only suggestion would be to maybe try and remove the ghostly people in the background - then it would make an excellent print.

Warm regards, Bob

Masterful Lena. This is more than just photography, this is more like a collage - but so expertly put together. But tell me, how long did the PP take to achieve the end result? And where do you get the textures. It really is brilliant stuff!
