Wow this sunset is simply amazing. You should try this with slide film if you have a film camera.

This is a nice profile shot of a very handsome dog. Border collie?

Photographing dogs can be a real treat especially if they know how to pose and you have the added difficulty of have a dog with black fur so well done on the capture!!

Nice shot and I share your sentiment. This shot would have been even better if you had managed to capture this entire figure (including his feet) and the cropped the top a bit.

The expression on his face and the frozen water make this a joyful image and I like it.

Hi Lawrence,

I love the rich colours you have captured in this photo. The reds in the clouds and that beautiful gold in the sunset really give this shot a romantic warmth. Nice touch with the light from the lamp offering a contrasting lightsource - insignificant in comparrison to the coming from the lowering sun.

Awesome.

Nicely captured Tom, the perspective created by the ripples in the sand and the contrast between sand and sky - awesome.

Hi Lawrence,

This is an impressive looking wasp, nice clear image as evidenced by the capture of the detail of the hairs on it's back. The addition of the other insects gives it scale and the DOF is nicely done. I would crop the top a little as overexposed light distracts.

Bravo.

Hi Sian, a nice composition with the doorframe acting as a frame for the shot as well. Love the pose and if there was anything to watch out for it would be your camera has focused on the door making the child slightly fuzzy.

Nice work :)

Very nice shot Rob, the light trails are clean and the thing that catches my eye the most is the reflection of the lights on the Harbour bridge. Freezing your butt off to take shots is something you get used to after a while :)

For a second there I thought this was a shot of three kids together. What I think might really make this work would be the series in proportion to each other, by that I mean cropping so that the child appears the same size in each shot.

What you have captured in this series is pure child delight and that's awesome.
