I like the mood and the story of the photo. It's something I would have liked to take. but don't really understand the title and the text.

It's rare to see maple (Canada?) washed up on a sandy beach. But I thought we Americans were in Kandahar protecting everybody.

The photo may be tweaked a little in PS to bring back some of the colors of the sand and leaf, though sometimes color is sometimes sparse in life.

Wow. Maybe you can record the sounds and play it in the background too! Somebody else can work on the smell. Is there is subway there?

Very nice specimen. You sure it's not a mushroom? Nice POV and comp. Thanks.

This is an excellent photo. It captures a some special mood, maybe another comment might better describe. One thing I might change in this otherwise perfect picture is the beer can in the front and the guy walking a bit out of the way (middle right) which could be done with simple cropping.

I've never seen the cans like this before. Basically, these are blocks of aluminum, ready to be melted. Shows we are recycling a little. When I visited Korea, I saw that the people and government pay a lot of attention to recycling. Ironically, when you go the the beaches there's too much trash though. I hope, they'll pay attention to all the stray trash they are throwing out at the beaches and mountains and other public areas. Thanks for the view.

Still a good shot. Your stated imperfections seem to give it a more intimate feeling- it looks more like a living city.

Another reminder of the fragility and beauty of life, and the unrelenting progress of time. I like this kind of shots too.

Warm autumn colors are welcoming. Thanks for reminding me to use the fill-in-flash.

They look like beautiful aliens. How do you do the frames? I've been trying to figure it out on the photoshop 7.
