I like the effect you captured with your idea. It makes the eye really stand out. The eye is quite sharp and in good focus. The front of your photo is a little soft compared to the deeper part. I would have prefered to see an equal balance of focus.

I think you made the right choice in the closer crop, this is a wonderful portrait. I like how the chief is in such sharp detail and the bg is soft. It makes him stand out in great detail. Wow I am so impressed, this is a great photo! I really like the choice of POV you have here, your DOF is perfect, the boxer coming towards us is in such good detail and the rest of the scene is in a softer focus. You can see the intensity and determination in his face and eyes. I really like the choice of B/W it really bring out the details. You didn't let the overhead lighting blow your shot. This was well composed and shot well. I see big improvements in your photography. TFS

I have never seen this flower before, it is quite unusual, it is beautiful, good color and details. I like the POV you choose to show a little of the flowers 'nest' below, I do agree with Kilted that a closer crop would have set it off better. TFS

Wonderful macro shot, I really like how you were able to get such good detail of the wings. You were also able to show off the wooliness of the bee well. The green grass makes such a nice bg for the bee also. TFS

I like this shot, it is better balanced than the first one of this building. I like how it is a little under exposed since it seems to bring out more of the details. The way this looks with no trees around it makes it stand out even more, it also adds to the mood of desolation. Nicely composed. TFS
