Salam Hamed,
I like this photo!
It is very colorful.
Despite the fact that this is a big city, it seems peaceful.
I think you have done a good job of the composition and framing.
Is the domed building near the bottom of the frame a mosque?
I am not a very skilled photographer, but I do enjoy learning about other places.
Thanks for sharing!
All the best.

Hi Rew,
I make this a comment because I don't feel qualified to offer a technical or artistic critique.
Nevertheless, I like this shot. I prefer portraits of "normal" people. It's even better that they are your friends.
She makes a very lovely model. My compliments to artist and model.

Hi Kiki,
I like this photo also.
The man kneeling has a dynamic pose I think.
He appears to be in prayer, and I can imagine the dragon as the gods observing him. We feel maybe some connection with the dragon since we are also observers.
Some information about what this place is exactly would be good.
Good one to share!

Hi Christian,
I think you have a nice photograph here.
I like the strong leading lines created by the wall in front of you and by the wall with the arches in it. The person standing in the second arch is also interesting.
I like the areas of light and shade. The light has a clear direction.
Interesting cultural note also.
The title caught my attention at first because I had been reading not too long ago about the Caribbean island of Montserat, which Cristopher Colubmus named in 1493 after the monastary.
I had never heard of a shift lens, so I learned something new (after a visit to Wikipedia).
Enoyed the photo!

Hi Karl.
I've been teaching in higher education for a while now and I would like to concur with your comments. It was one of the major breakthroughs for me to realize that there is much more to my students that what I see in a 50 minute class. The new respect I felt for my students after that changed me forever as a teacher.
I like your photo by the way! That's how I came to read your note of course. His natural, comfortable pose is what stands out to me. I guess the way he is dressed drew my attention to. Perhaps what I was doing with my students, I may also tend to do with people from other places. It's good to see them as living, breathing human beings.
Anyway, nice portrait and great note.

Hi Lucky,
I like this photo. There is a surreal quality about it. We are fairly strongly pulled out through the gateway created by the sticks into a formless space. If we forget that we are looking at water and take it purely visually the effect is even stronger. I wish I could see the whole thing on my screen without having to scroll up and down. This is almost like a black and white. It's largely simple shapes and shades of dark and light. I think it has a pretty strong atmosphere.
Enjoyed the shot!

Hi Shuki,
Don't get stuck that way man :)

Hi Saso,
I think this is a really cool photo!
You have really done an excellent job of turning something that might be considered ordinary into something very interesting.
I like all the shapes created both by the bridge and by the light. The lines and the monochrome color make it look futuristic. It reminds me of the movie Tron.
I really enjoyed this one!
I know where to go when I want to see intersting pictures of architechural structures!

Hello Nana-S
I like it. The color and texture are interesting and appealing.
I would say it is leaning toward cubism in some ways, but I am not qualified to go there.
Nice shot. TFS!
