This is a lovely picture with a nice simple composition.
I like the dominant grey colour and also how the seagull sitting on the log stands out well from the background. The reflection and texture of the water are also lovely. It is good how you have positioned the bird to the left of your photo, because it is facing towards the right (its left).
A white frame would go nicely around your photo.

This is wonderful photo. I find deserts very interesting. I really like the warm reddish tones of the sand in your photo and the superb shadows and highlights. The curves and textures are excellent also. It does look a bit like Mars, especially because of the strong red colour and also the darker patches from the rain, which give the appearance of craters. The soft pastel-coloured background works well in this photo, because it is unobstrusive and contrasts well with the sand.
Well composed showing the sloping and good panoramic composition.
