you nailed this one! all the tonal ranges came out when you did your HDR..which, is really the point. Anything under the sun can be the candidate for this technique...

i agree with willie about the sign up front that it distracts from the main subject, which is your trees..and the clear BG

but i agree with you on the HDR processing even it's on broad daylight... there are hundred ways to skin a cat...
