I was expecting a faster shutter speed than 1/125, Nildo - great capture! TFS. - Kelly

Impressive shot, Darren. The tower looks a bit like the Leaning Tower of Piza in that it is a bit tilted in the frame I think, and there looks to be a bit of a halo (from sharpening?) around the top of the tower where it borders the sky, but I love the image - it really caught my eye! Thanks for sharing.

Well done, Carol. I'm not sure why, but I'd love those two sailboats not be there! If they were gone, though, it would negatively affect your composition. So, I take that back - it is a great photo as it is here. THANK YOU FOR SHARING. - Kelly

I really like the contrasting of lines, as random as they are... the horizon line, the vertical lines of the window's edge... the line of the ledge outside the window... and the grout line between the stone pieces of that ledge that contradict everything else in the image. Plus, the horizontal blurred bands of color given the sunset - very nice!

Impressive shot, especially taken with 50mm lens. And no flash - just the incandescent lighting? Pretty cool. Thanks for sharing. -Kelly

The 2.8 aperture should blur the background... I guess I'm just surprised how the lack of a 'solid' background worked so well. People, tables, plants, signs, awnings/roofs... my intuition tells me all of this would detract from the photo. Indeed, it works superbly well. I do have to disagree with Ivan, though. I think part of what draws me into your image is that I don't see all of the bottle in the reflection - rather, the random blurry objects in the background. Very cool. Excellent clarity on the bottle... well done!

Love your photo, Mike. Wish the building wasn't in the bottom of the frame, but all in all - WELL DONE! Crisp and clear.

I'd love you to map this image (lat/long) so I know where in the world this railroad construction is happening! Thanks for sharing, John. - Kelly

Well done, vhinci! The light reflecting off the skyscraper is very unique. The street lamp posts on the left side of the frame play with relative size nicely... my mind had to ponder things for a bit. In a perfect world, I'd wish that the one bird wasn't in front of the building, that the street lamp in the far bottom right weren't there, and that you had a little faster shutter speed to 'freeze' all of your birds in flight - less blurriness. I like this shot, though. GREAT WORK!
