Very nicely done, Katherine--it really brings us down into his little world, especially with the shallow DOF. So, how did you get the shot? You left some food in front of your camera and clicked the shutter via remote control, perhaps?? You must reveal your secrets! The world's photographers are waiting!
OK, maybe not ALL of them, but, well...at least one. Regards, Ken.

Otherwise it would be good.
Beautiful textures throughout the frame, Theologos. It would be nice even without the mule, but the mule adds the extra element of something actually experiencing the cold, the snow and the hard stones. Nice composition, too, with the road leading the eye in. Regards, Ken.
It certainly looks deserted, the way you have used the huge empty brick intersection as a foreground. Nice exposure. I don't think the tilt really adds anything here-in fact you might bring out the static quality of the nighttime emptiness better without the tilt. Otherwise well composed, though, Linda. Regards, Ken.
It's a pretty view, Sorina, and B/W works well because there are a lot of interesting textures. I think you need more contrast in the middle third (vertically) of the picture, though. Regards, Ken.
Very nicely presented, Dirk. I like the pure black silhouettes of the dead trees. It's very other-worldly, or like some kind of underworld. Regards, Ken.
It's very starkly beautiful, Vicente. I think you framed it very well so that the wispy icy branches invade the entire frame. It really has a strong wintry mood. Regards, Ken.

Wow, the freedom to soar...very well depicted here, Katherine. (Or should I call you "Katherine-"? I don't know what the minus is for, but it seems like a"+" would be more fitting...???) I like the way you kept him low in the frame, to suggest he is just beginning to enter the huge space available to him; he's on his way to the sky. The clouds are ideal to put the "sky" at a specific level above him. Nice work! Regards, Ken.
