If you look at this flower amongst the other surrounding plants, it would look ordinary and insignificant. The red color here is so vibrant and crisp ... in fact the whole clarity of the image is of very high standard ... postcard quality! You must have been patient with this shot and steady with your hold to take this macro shot. DOF is very good too ... blurred the background making your subject really stand out.
