Oh my god! Mickey's. I grew up in this neighborhood. This was Mickey's store, we mostly went there for candy but I think he sold other items. Good shot, I knew exaclty what it was before I opened the shot.
you could not have planned it any better! I love those kind of photos. It looks like the horses are coming to see the their friend the toroise to find out who he is and what is that thing that he keeps pointing at their little buddy...and yet again there is also another smile just like that iguana, you are good at capturing that look.
;-)
Great job! I like how the subjects are blurred out a little but not so much that the look in their eyes are lost. They seem to be looking at you.

Beautiful colors and interesting subject. what kind of flowers are these?
There is something how the colors flow from the right side of different and darker shades of pink to the lighter colors, nice comp.

I like the extreme close up; composed very well, I like how the pebbles frame the subject with just the right amount of color and contrast.
OH and to disturb him, No way!! The look in his eyes makes me want to lounge in the sun right along side him, but then again that might disturb him too ;-)
Great Shot David!!
Peace

Ah there he is with his big smile, I love Iguanas!! They have the life don’t they?
I like how the red in his coloring contrasts with the rock.
Something is distracting me though and I can’t figure it out, perhaps the top or the right of the photo? Any way I love it, I am still drawn back to his lovely smile that you have captured so well, and that look in his eye, great detail.
PS I know you can’t control this but wouldn’t it have been great if he just moved his tail, just a little so it went down the length of the rock and it could have been in the shot?
Great job for the first time. The colors are nice and vivid. I might crop out the heads in the bottom of the photo but stop right there leaving the darkness and trees. I think that gives it some perspective. Although I am really new at this too so I could be wrong so we will say that is just in my opinion ;-) Great job even with the heads ;-)
Hello Francis,
Ah, a very New England feeling you have here Francis. I can't wait to see the shots of Maine in the fall and winter.

A view from the old foot bridge, is it still there or have they torn it down? This is a nice shot, you did a good job. The lighting on city hall is captured very well.
