What a happy little boy, with frosting on his toes, too! Love this portrait!

A very grey wet day in the photo and an equally grey wet day outside my window (but no cathedral). I like the almost abstract effect of the diagonals. I might have cropped for a little less sky, but that's a personal choice. As a friend on mine once said, "There's always a different crop..."

What a well-composed, appropriately colored, sad photo. The chid is gone, the bear is crying. It touched my heart.

And did Danilo and you visit any of my relatives?
This is a very nice photo of an impressive place. Your POV leads my eye first to Danilo and then to the horizon obscured by colorful trees, a good thing to do on a cloudy day.

lol - And was it raining at the time (rained hard all evening in Delaware)? If so, the Jack-o-Lantern was truly demonic!

Now how can I have a good night, when you have given me such a satisfactory nightmare! This fits the theme very well. Ghouls and ghosties, Oh my!

Hello Sabine,
This very surprising ghost reminds me of the Chinese dragons with firecrackers seen during the Chinese New Year. I'm glad that he stopped by you so we all could see him in his glory and be properly frightened!
Happy Halloween!

Hello Levent,
Welcome to TrekLens. You are starting very well with a well composed scene in a place that I wouldn't have expected to see snow. I hope you continue to post.

Lois
So you found a Victorian woman's ghost in your archives, a little frazzled, slightly distressed, politely protesting still being here. She reminds me of an aged aunt of mine whose gentle, lady-like complaints could drive one to distraction. There is no sense of menace or terror here, but no feeling that she is gentle enough to be ignored.
I am amazed by the emotion that is created in me by these very artistic abstract images. Did you set out to do this or is this something that I am creating on my own?
Have a very pleasant Halloween!
Lois

And it looks very cold-all blue tones except for the warm smile, very nice capture.
