Hello Siyavash,
It's quite a messy subject and it can be difficult to turn the resulting photograph into something appealing. You have accomplished it well.
Is it a fake background? It certainly works well and the result is beautifully graphic, with good pastel colors.
The frame color I don't like that much, I think a simple black would have been better.

I love this one! Pomegranate as I've never really had a chance to see before. I would like it even if it was comletely abstract or artificial image - just as a pattern. But now, discovering what it really is, it adds even more to the photo.

The heart bottom left? Do you mean the heart on the right bottom side?

Here I also like the frame very much. I think it is excellent frame for this photo - it is simple and elegant, distinguishes the photo from the backround. Also, as it is not 4-side frame but black frames only up and down it slightly resembles a film or a ribbon and that just adds to the graphic quality of your photo.

Great job!!!!
I'm really surprised that by holding some magnifying lens in front of ordinary lens creates such a pleasing result. R
eally, your "poor man's macro" :) works better than someone's really expensive piece of equipment. Applause!
If to look for something that could be improved - I would like to see the very tip of the central stamen to be in focus.
However - great job!

Nice POV. Could be a little bit sharper.
Also, since you really have 2 couples on the photo - one in the foreground and one in the background, maybe a slightly smaller aperture would have been better to create larger depth of field and keep both couples equally in focus.
I hate the kitsch frames you like, but that could be my own problem :)

Hmm... I think your photo would definitely need your notes to accompany. And I would actually put it rather in heavily postprocessed category. Anyway - would be great to know what you did.

Interesting subject. The colors are very great. I'm not sure about the composition though. I would have shot it including also some ground or vice versa would have cropped even more. Right now the black thing in the upper left corner is distracting. Also your photo is lacking sharpness.

Great photo, it immediately gets your attention, because you want to know what is she writing or drawing. It must be human nature. And once I opened the photo what I see is great composition, nice warm colors. Well captured! I would have tried cropping slightly more from the right and bottom to tighten the composition. But since I didn't try it in workshop I cannot be really sure it would have done any good. What I am sure is that your photo is very pleasing to look at the way it is. Thanks for sharing.

Nice POV. Funny. Too bad the photo is not sharp. I bet you didn't have tripod. Shooting with 1/30 shutter speed is very risky without proper camera support. You should have used faster ISO.

I must agree with previous praises. It really is a very nice photo. Warm and beautiful. As I see you used f-stop 8.0 and exposure time was 1/125sec and ISO raring 200. So even without necessarily changing ISO to 800 there was still some room fordeepr depth of field. And as I use the same camera model I know that Pentax *ist DS' grain is quite acceptable at ISO800. But that was just a theoretical point. Because I'm quite happy with your results as it is - the edges of the feather blend nicely in with the background. Anyway, good job!
