Yes, it is a very cool look. I like the blue and beige tones of the building facade. The hand resting on the railing and the shadows add interesting light and texture to the composition.

Linda, Your note makes the photo even a "better" photo than on first view. There is something about knowing the history of a photo that appeals to the emotions of those that are viewing it. Sure, it's a great photo, but the notes give it a History.

The boat itself is very picturesque. The lines, oars, shadows, etc.. all nicely composed. This would look nice in b&w and in color too. I do like the sepia though it goes with the "searched for many years" part of your note. Nicely done, Lisa

David, This one really captured my attention in the gallery. Opening for a closer view, one knows the location in of course England. The ship itself is a thing of beauty. I like all of the muted colors and the lines throughout. Now for the fun part... there's no way that ship could get UNDER the bridge. :) Lisa btw.... interesting notes

Donna, You "otter" post more photos to tl! :) (...groan, I couldn't resist). I hope you get back here more often too. I see your photos all of the time on fb! You have some terrific shots.

The setting is so peaceful and tranquil. I can almost hear the water rushing. I like the green in the foreground too. The coloring is interesting with the bits of green throughout. Nice Job! Lisa

Hi Joop,

I have always wanted to play chess on one of these live size boards. We don't have them in Atlanta unfortunately. I like how you have captured a crowd watching the match. In a way I wish that the faces were sharp so that we could see the intense expressions! I do like the "selective sharpness" setting though. That has a nice effect. Lisa

Joergen, I'm glad that I opened the photo from the gallery. The expressions on these gnomes brought a smile to my face. Beautiful decorative ornaments too. Lisa

Aleksa,

The curve of the road and the lights and shadows on them are terrific. The variation of leaf color is nice. The bright red coat of the hunter really stands out (as it should)! Lisa

Hi Sandy,

I really like this shot! Great photo of the details of the bridge. Although the bridge is the first thing that I noticed, I like how you have captured a nice vanishing point in your shot. My eyes just follow right along. Nice curve on the lights too. Just an all around nice composition. The only thing I might have tried was to darken the sky a tad. Lisa

Hi David,

I can't remember when I last saw such a beautiful sky. The church is a beautiful shade of yellow..so tropical. I like the pink tree to the left and pink to the right of the church. They kind of anchor our eyes in the photo if that makes sense at all. I'm not to wild about the stripes of the curb, but not much you can do about that. Enjoy your day, Lisa

Rew, This is a beautiful photo of her. I've always liked when an entire frame is filled with the face (especially when as gorgeous as her). Her skin tones and dark hair against the black background work very nicely together. Nice job. Lisa
