The thing you need to take into consideration with a WA lens is distortion,it is more apparent when pointing the camera upwards as you have done here Andrei. If you look at the pedestrians they are standing straight but look at the top of the building and it leans (distorts) forward. To see better what I mean look at the drainpipe. It is called converging verticals. You need to straighten them in Photoshop. Hope this helps.

Hi John .. to me it is perfect in brightness and colour and the background shows just enough blurred detail to be effective .. wonderful shot. One of the main problems with sites like theses is the variance of monitors. I calibrate mine but if a viewer with an uncalibrated monitor looks at it then it can appear very different. Regarding graffers comment, if his monitor is on full brightness then it is time to invest in a new one I am afraid. His WS shows this to be true.

Wow ... you nailed this one John .. such fine details and so sharp you could cut yourself. Excellent exposure and you caught the light perfectly . I like your frame with just a hint of the crocus colour in it .. fine work indeed

Happy Easter John

Been to Swanage a few times and the sea air does clear your head, you have a fine exposure here showing detail in the sand and waves .. It does look windy by the way the deck chairs are billowing out .. The sea looks inviting Lynne .. must have caught it on a good day .. usually it is a muddy / grey colour ..

This is a very clear shot that the slow shutter speed has enhanced, you seem to have got away with it John .. I do like the detail of the carriage and the blurred background that still shows detail but does not overpower .. they do seem a happy couple but I bet it was cold on that carriage

Well I learn something new every day here John (raddle) .. are you sure this is not some traditional Scottish word. Still onto the picture .. you looked to have struggled with the light her John but you seem to have won out .. nice rural shot .. we have Spring lambs every where here at the moment

Mint sauce ... lovely

This is a wonderful capture Lynne, the soft focus and mist add to the moody ambiance of the shot, the composition is also spot on by having the subject slightly off center. The reflections are the icing on the cake .. nice work indeed

I do like the over saturation and crop you achieved here John, what a wonderful well preserved machine this is and you showed just enough to make me want to see more .. you do seem to have a good eye for cropping .. like to share the secret ?

I like the toning here John as it suits the subject and the era .. great clarity right down to the signalman reading his book. You seem to have got a good vantage point (footbridge I presume) .. yep nice work again
