Well, it does look great in full size, thanks for posting it, Paul. The early morning colors of the landscape surrounding the illuminated QM2 makes for an appealing total. The low placement of the horizon line and the positioning of the impressive vessel in the frame are well chosen for the overall composition. Well done.

Congratulations, Manny, I'm excited and happy for you. All your photos with Krystal here on TE are such an inspiration and it is great to learn that two of your photos got published in the magazine. Nice framing that positions her striking beauty well at the left side of the frame. Also a nice work with the contrast.

Tim -
glad I found this, even if I'm a couple of days late. I'm so very happy for you and the family that Phil is finally back home safely. All the best, and please tell Phil I said hi.

I love this one, Sylvie. Such a beautiful atmosphere, and a great framing with the vessels as a foreground interest to the HK skyline. Well done with the exposure to render all the colorful lights and reflections just like you did in this photo. I hope I'll make it there before 2046 as I'll be, ehem, quite old by then ;-)
Joyeux Noël!!

Very nice catch for this one, Eric. A vivid scene going on behind the Café writing; I like how two of the café patrons seem to be aware of your presence. The crazy pattern of the lights on the ceiling is pretty cool, too. Well done.

I guess "seen from the outside" means from Tate Modern's Turbine Hall, right?

Another great piece from HK. Nice idea with the diagonal framing, and I really like your cropping with the one-way sign emerging precisely from the bottom right corner. Of course the sign also makes an odd but well-fitting blend with the poster and writing behind. Thanks, Sylvie, well done.

Hi Sylvie! Wonderful graphical and colorful piece from Hong Kong's metro. Great play of reflections and lights, and I also like the visible textural details in the red-painted surfaces. HK is quite high up on the seemingly endless list of places I'd like to see, so in the meanwhile I'll check out your photos :-)

The effect you created with the radial blur is amazing and dizzying, Chris, I feel like I'm being pulled into my monitor. Great colors and depth, very originally done.

A wonderful first photo you selected for TL, Paul. Good shallow DOF to isolate the girl and the cat from the surroundings. The full-color photo is very good as-is, but I also like the desaturated version you posted here; it accentuates the beauty of the girl. Very nice.

Hi Gae - a fun montage you made with copying the TE member photos into the billboard. Your effort seems to have fallen under the "too much post-processing" part of the TE Terms of service, but it has found a good new home over here, and if I'm not mistaken most of the members that can be seen are also active on TL, at least occasionally. Nice idea and well done.
