ciao Lele
della serie questa e' quella che mi piace di piu', ha dei colori davvero splendidi e trasmette veramente una sensazione di sera d'estate.
complimenti!

hi trudy,
I like the geometrical play here - lots of triangles everywhere... =)
it would have been great in b/w too, I am sure!
(ans very straight it is, too!)

hi daisy,
I agree with danilo - you really use CS3 in the way it should be used and not only for contrast-raising, pixel-sharpening purposes...
having said that, you must have the most colourful kitchen!
one day you have to show it to us =)

I didn't know Blake could be so tender and lyrical... somehow I always have the apocalyptic poet in my ears =)
it's interesting that you have chosen backlight here - many would have gone for the full-frontal approach, but your approach is more intimate, quieter if you want.
which makes the photo very original.

ciao roberto,
bentornato!

ottimo osservatore, come sempre =)
le 3 sezioni in diversi colori sono davvero una calamita per lo sguardo.

hello francis xavier,
it's an intricate and yet enjoyable play of light, shadows and patterns that you have photographed here!
the round tables remind me also of those mechanisms where countless wheels turn and feed movement into each other...
... or those beautiful black Sevillian fans...
excellent contrast by the way =)

ben & jerry - my favourite ice-cream ... after the one I make, with lots of Mr. Eggs!! =)
nice symmetry and geometry - simple but effective in dividing the space into coloured boxes, with the umbrella as a trait-d'union...

I was reading some of the critiques and went to your profile, too - was curious why you had to write a note in your profile.
I don't find the shot provocative at all - then again, I live in Amsterdam, a suburb if Sodom and Gomorrah, so my perception of what is provocative or not might be heavily impaired, ahahah...
anyway - I find her expression fantastic in its assertiveness. that part works very well for me. but the rest of her body, the position and pose I mean, is more on the funny side - so I feel a kind of dichotomy between the two. I understand her desire to show a side of her that involves control over her body and I see the idea with the tree - it's just the "hanging" that doesn't really work out for me.
although I understand that there's not so much you can do with a tree as a prop =)
all in all however is a good shot, I appreciate the creativity and the intentions behind it.

ciao teresa =)
I like it that you came back and posted this photo on the day of my birthday =)
you picked a beautiful light here - the only light left, and it fell on her hands - we talk often with our hands, they can say more about us than our words.
