Hi Niek, lovely scenery here. Those mountains look spectacular. I think the composition is OK but there is a little too much blank space in the foreground. As you have camper vans in the shot it might have been good to have one parked near the lodge or else crop a little off the bottom. I also think the image is a little dark. I've done a workshop to show you. I hope you like it and I hope you don't mind.

Nice shot, hope you enjoyed Norway :-)

Hi Stanislav,

This is a very good image. I love the foreground you chose and with the snail on there it adds that bit of extra interest. The technical stuff is all good here, the green tones are all very good and the sunlight through the mist is very pleasing. If I have a suggestion to improve this image it would be to do a little gardening by removing/bending those plants/flowers on the right out of the frame. I'd also clone out the small group of leaves in the top left.

Very nice shot :-)

Hi Rick,

This is a very nice image. Excellent perspective there, the shadows of the trees across the path also work very well. The picture seems a little noisy but perhaps that's some artifacts from sizing to less than 200 kB? I think you might be able to get a little more colour from it too.

Well done on this, it's very good!

Hi Sweety,

It looks pretty yummy to me. I'm glad I just had my dinner otherwise I'd be feeling hungry!

You have got very good at these food shots. I have a couple of suggestions for you.

i) I think something in the background would be good - maybe a spoon on the side of the plate and the base of a wine glass on the table

ii) a little puddle of the sauce on the plate in the foreground

iii) it would be nice to see some steam coming from the food too

I know these seem very picky but there's not much wrong with you image so I had to find something to say.

The exposure is very good and nice composition. I think the relatively shallow DOF works well here too.

Well done!

Hi Daniel, this is a super image. I love the different layers here. It's like a journey through time. Great lighting too. Very well seen :-) Can't really think of anything to improve here.

Hi Sue, this is a lovely image. You have captured the delicate petals so well, the sharpness is excellent. I contrast of colours in the overlap. The scattered pollen is also a nice touch. Well done on the exposure too. Good work!

Hi Alberto,

A nice alpine scene here. Flowers can make a good foreground and this composition isn't too bad. The mountains and sky in the background are a little overexposed. One way to deal with this would be to use a graduated ND filter, another way would be to use a tripod and take two shots, one exposed correctly for the foreground and the other for the mountains and sky. These could then be combined in your photo editing software to produce a more balanced image. There is also a it of a green cast on here, easily corrected in levels. Finally, F6.3 isn't really enough here. I see you were using a compact so F8 would have been better.

Lovely view.

HI David, this is a very attractive image. The composition is excllent and some good PP work. I prefer this to the other versions it looks like a winter/snow scene. The layers are good and great background. Very nice job.

Hello Claude, The textures here are fantastic and the corrosion colours sit very well with gear cog. I admire your PP skills! Great work.

Hi Claude,

Excellent PP work on this and your other shots. I love the symmetry on this one and the broken symmetry of the light bulbs that echo those at the top. I perfer this one over the WS. Very well done.
