Hi Kevin,

It's a beautiful image but the first thing I see is the funky white balance. Your daughter's skin appears yellow/greenish. I've posted a workshop on one way to fix the skin tones.

I realize that this wasn't a portrait session but if it were I would suggest bringing in your fill light in at a 45 degree angle as opposed to straight because it gives your subject more depth. TFS!

Hi Lena,

This is a decent image but it's very underexposed. You can use the dodge tool in PS to lighten some of the darker areas. It's always best to try and get your exposure correct rather than try and fix it later. TFS.

Jens, wow, what an amazing shot! Awesome idea! Did you have a pocketwizard to set off your speed light? I suppose with a shutter speed of 1/2 second you wouldn't need the pocketwizard and could fire it by hand. TFS!
