Hello Mae,

The sun has painted the sky, the sea and the beach with rich, warm reds and oranges. The silhouetted clouds add drama to the sky, whilst the drama is continued by the darkness of the waves.
The tiny yachts, on the skyline, add an unusual twist to your evenng sunset.

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Good Morning Francis,

Your use of portrait style has really got the best out of this shot, as it makes the rippling, vibrating patterns go on for ever!
The boat sets the context whilst the abstract patterns are strong and sharp.

Have a good day,
Bev :-)

Merhaba Hayati,

A interesting downward view of this wooded area.
It has created a good composition of 'thirds' with the hills creating a third each, either side of the diagonal line of trees, creating the last 'third'.
The light is delightful, illuminating the trees and creating long shadows on the hilside. A pleasing frame.

Have a good day,
Bev :-)

Hello Jim,

A quite stunning phottograph of sharp, eye-grabbing images, reflections, wonderful light and colours!

Have a good day,
Bev :-)

Hello Chris,

I am fascinated by the unusual names that appear on this site! They must have some interest from their history!
This really is a great shot. It gives a wonderful 'feel' of wild mountains and evergreen forests. (Surprising as I always thought the Prairies were vast fields of ceral crops!) The path is an interesting, angular leading line, made comfortable by the security of the trees, as it leads towards the snow-capped mountains.
There is a lot of interesting detail and the colours are well saturated .

Have a good day,
Bev :-)

Well, thank you, Paras. I am honoured by your beautiful dedication.
This really is a beautifully sharp flower, made even bolder and more eye-catching by the good use of the narrow dof. The details of the water droplets add to the interest.
The flower is well positioned in the frame and makes a very good contrast with the dark b/g.

Have a good day,
Bev :-)

I am so pleased that you consider my comments as honest, that is an accolade!

Hello Bryan,

Your polariser has given great colour to the sky and, consequently, the water.
Your composition shows nice features of f/g triangle, good leads and the canopy of twigs to break up the cloudless sky. The reflections are useful in doubling the amount of autumnal colour.
There is a tilt to the horizon which can easily be corrected.

Have a good day,
Bev :-)

Hello Rew,

A more traditional approach and, for me, one that works better. Leigh is a very pretty girl with the most captivating eyes. This slightly angled body position with her looking unselfconsciously towards the camera, gives her a captivating charm.
The crop and composition are both very good.

Have a good day,
Bev :-)

Hello Achim,

Water it certainly is!
It appears to be bubbling right up to my monitor!
Good composition using 'thirds'.
A study in 'blues'!

Have a good day,
Bev :-)

Good Morning Fernand,

A note would add so much to your entry.

This is a very well composed shot using the narrow dof perfectly. The focussed bee is in a strong position in the frame, whilst the blurred, misty b/g adds a little mystery.

Have a good day,
Bev :-)
