Great

I really like this photo. It has a very good 'fine art' quality to it and the soft contrast and colurs are simply stunning. I'm struggling to find any fault with this - despite it being a very unconventional piece of photography. Tres, tres beau!
Amicalements, Paul.

I see you're a man for the detail - the 'inner landscape' a some call it. I like this one very much as it hints at symmetry but the blanked-out window makes me wonder "why?".

Excellent colours and sharpness and the fact that the light is a bit flat means that there's no possibility of burned-out highlights or blacked-out shadows.

Nice work. Regards, Paul.

Hi Bev.

Beautiful addition to the theme. I love the slightly soft and fuzzy 'feel' this has. My only suggestion would be to have had the main flowers slightly higher so they could dominate the scene a bit more. However, that's being picky! Lovely piece of work. Regards, Paul.

Hi Daryoosh. This one of my favourite images. The fact that you didn't use a tripod sets it apart from the more 'traditional' smooth lines and curves and lends it even more of an impressionistic feel. Eve the limited colour palette is excellent. Can't fault it. Excellent work. Paul.

Nice shot, Andy. I like the colours and the church is a fine example of Georgian architecture. Why they couldn't have dismantled and re-built it is a mystery.

I like the composition with the sweeping bay and reflections in the water. The addition of people and wildfowl gives the place a sense of 'belonging' in the real world.

However, I have a couple of minor criticisms:
1) Contrast seems to be a bit high
2) You seem to have slightly over-sharpened

I'm glad you had better conditions than I had when I was there earlier this year.

Regards, Paul.

Hi Leica.

Great piece of selective focus and nice bokeh of the background. The muted colours also add to the serene atmosphere.

Regards, Paul.

Nice part of the world and some of my favourite grub!

Lovely exposure and well controlled contrast. I like the car light trails as they give a bit of movement.

Regards, Paul.

Nice piece of abstract PP work. Love the combination of greys with the blue/green background. Nicely done. Paul.

Hi Buddy. Great capture. Unusual light - looks like it might have been flash? If so, it's been nicely controlled. Nice work. Paul.

Really nice shot. It could also be a Trek Nature shot. My only criticism is that the background needs toning down to add some depth to the image. Otherwise, really good. Paul.
