This adorable creature is a sea otter, and your photo of it is wonderful!!! Whenever I have seen them in the wild they have been to far away to get this detail, and whenever I have seen them in an aquarium the are always behind dirty glass. But your photo captured the otter beautifully. They are a favorite of mine, so I especially like this photo. Great work!

You're right, this is a beautifully tranquil shot. It looks like the most peaceful place on earth. I love how the grasses aren't sharp- I think it would distract from the calm image you have created. It also creates the look of a soft breeze that would add to the tranquility.
