i get the impression you, me and john (orbiter) are all going to the same places and seeing the same things, see my latest for proof lol.
strangely enough, i like this view :-)
well composed, good light, good work my friend!

hi pawel
i like this a lot, it looks like a lovely city and you have captured it well. good perspective and great detail, the monotone presentation gives a timeless feeling.

hi mark
this is the first one of yours i've seen that isn't gobsmacking, in my view anyway, because the hills either side are too dark to see any detail. having said that, the foreground and sky are perfectly lit, and the composition is to your usual high standard.
i'd love your comments on my images of snowdonia i've posted recently, you are obviously very skilled at landscape images, and i need all the help i can get lol.
cheers

hi eben
that's some wave you got from the rider lol.
it looks to me like your panning technique is ok, but, in my eyes anyway, the shutter speed needs to be quicker to get the bike a bit sharper. from the settings i can see i would suggest 200 iso is ok, but use slightly less DOF to increase the shutter speed whilst still keeping the blurred background.
hope this is helpful to you.

hi bulent
great timing here, you've frozen the swimmer very well. good focus and DOF too.

hi andrew
great perspective here, very good use of the 18-55 lens wide open. i like the movement of the people and the detail in the arch.

hi johannes
interesting to see this image on the same page here as magda's power station chimneys. i hope we see a lot more of these and less of chimneys belching smoke in the future.
lovely composition, almost absract, and i love the colours.
