Hi Wayne,
Merry Christmas to you and yours as well. Its been a long time, I hope all is well.
This is a wonderful photo. The twinkling lights provide an excellent backdrop to this lovely little girl's expression.
Great candid photo with great results.
Cheers,
Todd
This is a fascinating photo and for obvious reasons...the effect is very cool! I keep staring at the photo and trying not to make it shake and spin...and I can't! For that I think you did a great job of creating this abstract shot even if by accident. It certainly does have a hypnotic effect to it.
What an incredible mood this lighting creates as it shines through the trees and the snow on them. You've captured the scene with great composition and excellent exposure. The details in the FG branches are crisp particularly given it is a handheld shot at 1/60 - well done.
The clouds are so dramatic in this photo that I was drawn to it. The whole scene is wonderfully composed using the ladder as a means to lead the viewer deeper into the photo. The clouds are ominous and look as though a phoenix is rising out of them. Great use of the Neutral Density filter for a long exposure to add to the mood of the photo. Well done.
Hi Linda,
Clearly I've been away a long time and I've missed all this talk about stolen photos. I'll keep my eyes open for them.
As you said, back to the photos, and this one is great! Great composition of this photo. I love how moody this one is with the tree's silhouette creating such intrigue. The details of the branches are wonderful. The clouds also have such a surreal feeling about them. Excellent!
Cheers,
Todd
Hi Silke,
What a wonderful sunset you've captured. The composition is stunning having the sun set between the pines and the backlit effect it creates with the trees. Great capture! I'm trying to get reinspired after a lengthy absence from the site, and your wonderful photo is certainly helping me get motivated.
Cheers,
Todd
What a stunning photograph you've captured here. Brilliant detail and great composition using the foreground to draw the viewer along the creek to the mountain. I have some Scottish heritage, and this is making me want to get over to visit the country. Simply great!
Regards,
Todd
Fantastic capture with such crisp details. Your composition certainly gives one the impression of this maple leaf being the last one...anywhere! The blue of the background creates a wonderful contrast to the yellow of the leaf. Great photo.
This is a wonderful image you've captured with such brillian detail and vivid colours. The use of a longer exposure works incredibly well here and doesn't feel overdone. I have just recently purchased a Sigma 10-20 wide angle lens last month. So not only is this photo stunning using the lens, it is inspiring for me to get out and use my new lens. Thank you for that and for posting this great photo. Cheers.
Todd

Hi Jens,
Not only is the photo a fantastic shot showing the action of the sport, but your notes that accompany this photo would be worthy of two smileys if I were able to do so! Well done on both the "miss" and utilizing your talent to create such a dramatic photo in PP. Excellent!
Regards,
Todd
