Cool photo mate. Definately harking back to some classic movie screen shots. Could you have gone black and white though? Maybe worth making another version. Cheers,
jp

nice shot considering the difficulty. beautiful colours and saturation. well framed/cropped too. a few things though.. i think the bug is too bright, and maybe the whole photo can do with reduced brightness. also maybe the photo is show too large for the resolution - its quite grainy and there's a bit of sharpness lost by the large apeture. you could think about re-posting a smaller version. nice otherwise :-)

really nice capture of colour here - very rich and saturated. i'm not sure about the light on the woman though. maybe she needed to be lit by fill in flash, or a complete silhouette. all of this could have been done in-camera. but its definately a good beach shot :-) cheers,

nice and colourful - a happy photo. i really like it :-) one thing, though, is that its a little harsh on the eyes - brightness very powerful. i don't know if its just because i'm viewing it on a late night, but some people might have an issue with this. otherwise its a nice capture. cheers,

nice idea here, and good light. maybe a wider angle would have been nice - try this on your new camera if you have the time :-) i'm not sure about the timing of the shot though - the woman could have been a little more to the right of the shot. but the photo has a really good annonymous street kinda feel. cheers,

funny photo. nice situation to capture. not too sure about the light though - maybe some more saturation and less brightness would work better, to make the photo more colourful. cheers,

Interesting idea, although I can't say I understand it! I think if work out what it means, and accompany it with some other themed photos it would be nice :-) Cheers,

Good

Strong colours and good composition. The stone clearly looks like its been inserted, though, which is a problem. Otherwise, very pleasing. Cheers,

nice composition. looks very unnatural, but it still conveys a feeling of freshness. good experiment.

Great

mate, i think this photo is great without the movement blur - its assumed that the swings are actually in motion, rather than standing still! also, there are too many crap tourist photos of blurry theme park rides in movement - i guess the photographers were somehow trying to capture their children moving at 60kph...

in contrast, your photo reflects the value of selecting the shutter speed for the situation, and framing the shot for simplicity. also, the colours are fantastic - good post processing.

one issue though... i think the photo needs a proper name. maybe something to so with kids on theme park rides when a storm is coming :-) cheers mate,
