Gilles, potentially could have been a wonderful shot! good composition, contrasts and lighting - a real shame the bird isn't fully clear!! Small birds are a challenge! I found spot focus and F4/faster shutter works well - unsure how that would go with a flash???

Paula, I enjoyed wandering through your gallery! You have a unique perspective and with a little attention to detail, you'd make a good photographer! I like your use of contrasts, here it's the freedom of the bird while behind bars another was flowers in a cityscape and another was a leaf with a lovely dark background.
nuture your perspective and give a little attention to your point of view and I am sure you will improve.
