Hi David,

The diagonally receeding repetition of towers is nicely captured. The tug and container barge in the foreground add a good touch of color. POV and DOF are superb, TFS.

Best regards,
Werner

Hi Gilbert,

I really like the focal range in this. The slightly blurred fg water sharpens at just the right point to sharpen the reflections of your daughter and mattress. Her splash is nicely captured as well. I appreciate your notes too, we get to learn a little about the different cameras and their history.

Have a nice weekend.

Werner

Hi Nicolas,

A nice capture of the elderly lady wearing her interesting hat. I like her position in the composition and the background is sufficiently blurred so that it doesn't compete for attention. Very sharp, the textures in her clothing are well seen. TFS

Have a nice weekend my friend!

Best regards,
Werner

Hi Adrian,

A nice autumnal capture of the colorful house and rural landscape. Good POV and the fog creates a sleepy mood in the scene. TFS

Hi John,

I enjoy photos like this, historic ruins make wonderful subjects. I think it would help if you add a bit of contrast and color saturation in pp. Well composed, TFS.

Werner

Hi Mikolaj,

An interesting capture of an unusual subject. The "eye level" POV works well to capture the entire sculpture and the bright background provides good separation. TFS

Hi Mushtaq,

An interesting view of the Dandelion and thank you for your honest note. From what I can see, I think the soft edges are a depth of field issue. In macro photography you are fighting DOF issues because of the magnification and distance to subject. In this case a smaller aperture (f/18, f/22) should help provide a slightly larger focal range. This is only my opinion, I don't do too much macro work. Still, this is a good shot, the colors and textures are nicely captured.

Have a nice weekend.

Best regards,
Werner

Hi Joe,

Gotta give it to you, perfect timing to capture the dolphins in mid-air. The lighthouse is interesting too, it looks like a farmhouse with a light on it. TFS

Hi Chris,

Talk about a piggy bank, wow! Interesting POV and I like the inclusion of just a touch of the architecture to the right. TFS

Hi Paras,

I do so appreciate your interpretation of nature and expression through your photgraphy. I think I have mentioned it before, but I consider you an eternal optimist and wish there were more like you (myself included).

The "balance" is captured nicely with the two Physalis plants. They are very sharp and colorful and nicely separated from the bokeh in the background. TFS

Best regards,
Werner
