This is my first photo on Treklens. For a little over two years I have been publishing on Trekearth, but the fact I could not put photos like these on Trekearth, made me also register here.

It is not common to see Africans having fun on the beach. This girl enjoyed herself the whole day all by herself running up and down, and spalshing into the water at the Praia at the Miami Beach Club at the Ilha do Luanda.
She had so much fun and she looked so happy that i just had to take my camera and click.

Certainly a happy and bright photo, I would rather have seen more of your subject - if she had been facing the camera more it would be great!

Composition and metering are both good, although I also have to wonder about the focus - it looks as if your sharpest point of focus was on the water, and not on the woman? Maybe I'm wrong!

Hi Jan

Nice shot with the waves splashing and its color gradient, good composition and light, and your 2 years at TE should make you quite good at it.

The girl facing the camera will be extra good here.

Angolan descendants living in Brazil, the other side of the pond, certainly enjoy beach a lot, for them it's the most prominent place around !
