He was a bit shy. But I was wondering, he wasn't shy to pose for me. Even acoomodating when I ask him to sit on the swing.

He is our client's son. Living in Cotonou, Benin, Africa.

A "classic" but poignant portrait, Eman. Good spontaneous pose, with some shyness in it indeed. Black & white was an appropriate choice.
I'm just not entirely convinced of the strong contrasts in your picture. In general, I like strong contrasts, but here they create a little over-exposure on the hands and in the background and, above all, they make the shadow on the eyes (especially the left left eye/on the right side for us) a bit too strong to make us really appreciate their expression, their shyness. I'm aware that there is much power in suggestion, but here, I personally feel the need to see more of the eyes.
Just my opinion, of course. Feel free to (dis)agree ;o).
